When rain is seeping under your loading bay and the landlord wants you to spend £1000’s in additional drainage.
This was causing our client concern due to the original 1980’s poor design of a slight back-fall on the door apron, and the machine they were about to install behind it that can’t stand in a puddle.
A simple bespoke rain deflector resolves the problem and saves a fortune.
We continue to find cost effective solutions to everyday client problems.
Office sound reduction works
During the school holidays we took down an old timber framed dividing partition wall that gave very little acoustic barrier protection and replaced it with a new partition wall, using British Gypsum soundbloc boarding and acoustic quilt insulation, through the suspended ceiling to the structural ceiling.
The window is now triple glazed, and the door is solid core with a drop down acoustic barrier to the floor in the closed position, and neoprene seals in addition to the inset brush seals in the frame.
The result: A greatly reduced decibel level and increased distortion and muffling of unwanted sound, to give a higher level of privacy.
Fire door install – Before & After
We recently completed classroom alteration works for ESSA Academy in Bolton and the decided they needed an additional fire exit.
Structural curtain walling can take up to 12 weeks during the summer holiday period, so we installed a temporary door and frame.
I’d be surprised if they want to spend the budget on the metal framed door now!

Crowcroft Park – Outside classroom project
Our client had a limited space to install an outside classroom and well-ventilated workspace.
We designed and built this timber structure with box profile steel roof and intermittent open light panels.
The inside has been lined with ply and bench seating fitted all the way around.
The client is very pleased with the finished product.

Colour scheme as per their corporate colours and breathing new life into a single storey building that had been used as a dumping ground for everything from furniture, to redundant light fittings for the last ten years.

Maintenance – Drainage works
The school had been experiencing significant water ingress due to tarmac overlay over the year raising the level of the playground and water seeping into the brickwork.
We found level and installed a slotted drainage channel system that completely removed water ingress.
