PSV Glass Ltd. Based in Middleton, Manchester – January 2025
Our client invited us to look at and propose a plan to re-furbish their warehouse staff toilets.
We carried out a site survey and drew up plans of the existing and proposed layout and provided options of what materials/fittings and services were available along with a colour pallet.
Once we received back their wish list and budget, we sent out tender details to our contract’s teams.
Having been instructed we gave them a programme of works schedule, highlighting how we would proceed.
The first objective was to arrange suitable portable toilet facilities to be available with servicing for the duration of the works, once in place we could proceed with stripping out the existing toilets and removing waste from site, leaving us with the blank canvas to proceed.
Existing walls and doors had to be removed to allow for an open plan area, existing drains, water, and electrics had to be considered and terminated to allow for safe working.
The client’s existing fire sprinkler system had to be drained and pipework capped.
Soil and water drains inspected ahead of the floors being screeded for the new flooring.
Protective floor covering in place before we start on the UPVC wall coverings new false ceilings, LED lighting and ready for our cubicle and vanity install.
Next, IPS toilets within hidden panels and push button flush system and stainless-steel Urinal.
Hand dryers, wall heaters, mirrors and skin safety centre wall panels.
Deep clean and the job is ready to hand over to clients.
